There were reports of large beacons lit that were originally intended to warn the citizens during the French & Indian War, 11 years prior (1763). They were set ablaze in response to the gunpowder that was taken from the powder house, now located in modern day Somerville.

I apologize for being behind in answering emails I have been quite swamped in work as well as sick; I can thank LtClarke for giving me his cold!

I’m happy I got a close up to paint officer’s metallic lace for once!
Even though I’m sure many readers will hate Cpt.Marbles friend at the table, I do like his character he is reoccurring.
